Position Overview

As an Internal Patient Transporter, you will be a crucial part of our healthcare team, ensuring that patients move safely, quickly, and compassionately throughout the hospital. You'll work across diverse areas, from the Emergency Room to Patient Care Units and Specialty Clinics. Every patient interaction is an opportunity to provide comfort, assistance, and peace of mind during what may be a challenging time in their lives.

What You'll Do:

* Provide safe, courteous, and efficient transport services for patient admissions, discharges, and transfers.
* Ensure all necessary documents and equipment accompany each patient.
* Maintain and care for transport equipment such as wheelchairs, stretchers, and radios, ensuring they are ready for use.
* Work closely with Guest Services and Dispatch to ensure seamless patient flow.

Qualifications:

* High School diploma or GED.
* Previous training in patient handling, CPR, and safety protocols is helpful, but we offer comprehensive training on these essentials.
* This role requires physical stamina, including frequent walking and the ability to lift patients and equipment.
* You'll need to be courteous, professional, and supportive with patients, visitors, and team members.
