The Administrative Services Center (ASC) is a deliverable of the AdminX initiative. The ASC partners with local and central units to provide efficient and consistent support for administrative operations across the Institute.
The ASC will serve as the front door for all HR inquiries and transaction initiation.
Job Summary


Responsible for translating student, faculty, and staff data into clear, usable, actionable information that supports the designing and execution of Institute strategies. This position will interact on a regular basis with: Institute leadership, management and staff.This position typically will advise and counsel: Institute leadership, management and staff.This position will supervise: NA
Responsibilities


Job Duty 1 -
Extract, manipulate and analyze data trends and patterns using database query tools, statistical/analytical software and data tools

Job Duty 2 -
Design, develop and test predictive models to identify campus outcomes for various units.

Job Duty 3 -
Provide data summaries, trends, and patterns by using data visualization tools and reporting tools.

Job Duty 4 -
Research projects and prepare reports that address campus issues or topics using sound research methodology and techniques.

Job Duty 5 -
Provide benchmarking analysis comparing Georgia Tech data to other peer institutions.

Job Duty 6 -
Serve as technical resource and trainer to the Institute data analytics community.

Job Duty 7 -
Perform other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications


Educational Requirements
Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Other Required Qualifications
Overnight travel requcientisted for project delivery; flexibility in on-site daily service delivery hours degree or higher in a related (due to client shift schedules, project requcientistements).

Required Experience
Up to two years of job-related experience.
Preferred Qualifications

Master's Degree

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities


SKILLS
This job requires expertise using statistical tools, data visualization software, forecasting methods, and data mining algorithms. Rich experience in statistical analysis and data modeling techniques including forecasting techniques, time series and trend analysis, regression, analysis of variance, multivariate analysis, factor analysis and hypothesis testing. Ability to work with large data sets, develop sophisticated models and algorithms combining disparate data sets. Ability to clearly communicate and accurately present methodology and results of analyses to various technical and non-technical internal audiences using a variety of visual, written and/or verbal formats.
