About the Department
The Business department at Perimeter College emphasizes preparation
for decision making in a business environment. Perimeter College
faculty members have practical experience in a variety of
industries. By drawing upon this experience in the classroom, they
provide students with real-world examples to complement business
theories.
Position Description
Perimeter College invites applications for a lecturer in economics.
Lecturer positions are academic year (August-May) non-tenure track
appointments, which may be renewed up to six (6) years. This is a
teaching-focused position: 100% of the workload is instruction.
Lecturers are responsible for providing 36 credit hours of
instruction per academic year and maintaining weekly office hours.
Perimeter College faculty maintain a campus presence, and the
successful applicant will demonstrate a strong commitment to early
undergraduate teaching and learning, and the ability to thrive in a
highly diverse academic setting. Perimeter College is a
multi-campus institution, and the teaching assignment may be on any
of the college's campuses.

Required Education
A minimum of a Master's degree required in the teaching discipline
or a minimum of a Master's degree with at least 18 semester or 27
quarter graduate hours in relevant coursework (completed by the
anticipated date of appointment) is required.
Salary Range Master's: $44,581 - $49,581
