Asphalt Paving Equipment Operator - $25-$35Gpac stands for Growing People And Companies and we are honored to represent a Company who sets the standard in asphalt with long term career opportunities. - With excellent pay and benefits you will also gain valuable experience using the best machinery on the best projects. - Above all we feel you will work with simply the best people who care about your personal career goals.Our Equipment Operators are involves use of Heavy Equipment on site and could include yet not limited to Skid Steer, Rollers, Backhoe, Pavers and Loaders.Job Responsibilities are strict and held to a high standard. - Job Responsibility alone is what provides us the consistent work and the best equipment. - Each team member will be held accountable to * Ensure compliance with a safe work environment * Adhere to all safety policies and procedures relating to site and equipment * Operates a range of vehicles and heavy equipment * Maintain and perform timely inspections and maintenance of all equipment * Full attention to avoid potential hazards, obstructions including utility lines, equipment, people * Operation other tools and equipment that may be required To continue to provide a full career and Career Planning we expect the following skills, knowledge and abilities * Safety, Safety, Safety. - Unsafe work habits are simply not allowed * Self Starter and personally accountable to learn and grow * Lead, follow and perform as a Team * Consistently arrive on time and work full day * Fit the hours that are required for the industry and projects * Precisely follow spoken and written instructions * Maintain basic math equations * Pass pre employment physical and drug test * Maintain a Valid Drivers License * Achieve professional licensing as needed Must have at least 2yr experience operating heavy equipment and a High School diploma is preferred.Asphalt/Paving requires we can work outside in all forms of weather and tolerate loud noises. - Must be able to lift 75lb and perform physically for the job which is moving all day, upper and lower body use, reach and lower movements, climbing and management of materials.
