Job Description:
A company is looking for a Senior Buyer responsible for
procurement activities in Huntsville, Alabama.
Key Responsibilities
Negotiate prices and terms for complex procurements, ensuring
compliance with procurement policies
Administer purchase orders, manage supplier relationships, and
conduct price/cost analysis
Support internal/external audits and mentor other buyers in the
procurement team
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree with 4-8 years of relevant experience, or a
master's degree with 2-6 years of experience, or a HS Diploma with
8+ years of relevant experience
Prior experience in purchasing tangible goods
Familiarity with Federal Acquisition Regulations
Knowledge of government contracts preferred
Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
