What We're Looking For:

We are seeking a--litigation attorney--with--3-5 years of experience--in criminal and civil litigation. The ideal candidate is a--highly motivated self-starter--with strong advocacy skills, a sharp legal mind, and a passion for the law. Key Responsibilities:



--- Represent clients in--criminal defense--and--civil litigation--matters from intake to resolution.
--- Manage cases through--all stages of litigation, including trial.
--- Conduct--legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and briefs.
--- Appear in court for hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials.
--- Engage in--client counseling, case strategy development, and negotiations.
--- Work collaboratively with the legal team to ensure effective case management.

Requirements:

--- 3-5 years of litigation experience--(criminal and/or civil).
--- Strong courtroom presence and ability to handle hearings and trials.
--- Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
--- Ability to work independently and manage a caseload effectively.
--- Active Georgia Bar License (Required).

Responsibilities:

--- Perform legal research, prepare for and attend hearings or other legal proceedings, and give general counsel under the supervision of senior associate attorneys
--- Assist clients in determining a proper solution to legal conflicts and determine the best course of action
--- Maintain client files in an organized fashion to ensure up-to-date information is handy for other attorneys, paralegals and support staff
--- Draft documents such as correspondence, pleadings, motions, briefs, affidavits, settlement agreements, and contracts to be used proceedings and contract negotiations
--- Communicate with senior associates, paralegals, and clients to ensure cases are handled efficiently
--- Prepare for and conduct criminal hearings and trials

Qualifications:

--- Ability to work with senior attorneys to best serve client needs and grow our client base
--- Effective communication skills and problem-solving skills are necessary to work with all levels of staff and clients
--- Successful completion of the bar exam
--- Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree required from an accredited law school
