In addition to staff nurse duties, this position is responsible for coordinating supply procurement and patient billing for the Operating Room (OR-specialty area). Coordinate with Materials Management and other supply houses to procure and charge supplies, instruments, and specialized products or equipment used in the operations of the OR.

  Minimum Education
  • Associate's degree - Required
  • Graduate of an Associate's Program in Nursing - Required Licenses/Certifications
    • Valid RN licensure in the State of Georgia
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) X CNOR preferred Minimum Work Experience
      • Five (5) years of experience in the Operating Room as a Registered Nurse (RN) Required Skills
        • Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision
        • Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action
