TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ICU/Critical Care RN in Cartersville, Georgia, 30120 About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Job Specialty: ICU Job Duration: 12 weeks Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30) Guaranteed Hours: Experience: Minimum 2 years License: GA or Compact license must be in hand Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH Must-Have: - Interpretation & Management of dysrhythmias - Multi-system organ failure - Pulmonary Artery Line/Swan Ganz monitoring - IV Insulin Protocols - GI surgery - Genitourinary/Renal experience - Chronic/Acute Renal failure management - IV therapy - Accessing Ports - Arterial line management - Blood Product Administration - Central line care/management - PICC line management - Starting IVs - Continuous IV sedation - Titrate Cardiac drips - Titrate Vasoactive drips - CVA/Acute Stroke management - Assist with management of BiPAP - Assist with management of CPAP - Assist with Chest Tube Insertion/Removal - Care of Ventilated Patient - High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC) - Interpretation of ABGs - Suctioning (ETT, NT) - Infection Prevention - Isolation, Precautions/ Use of PPE - Phlebotomy - Surgical Wounds with drains/Wound Vac Job Description: - Work in a high-acuity ICU setting with patient population ranging from adults to geriatrics. - Manage patient care for a 1:2 patient-to-nurse ratio. - Utilize unit systems such as Pyxis and EPIC efficiently. - Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. - Comply with full compliance requirements to ensure timely start and continued employment. - Participate in a 13-hour orientation session. - Potential floating within the facility may be required. - Schedule must accommodate up to 7 days of requested time off (RTO), with blocked scheduling not guaranteed. - Must be prepared to work major holidays based on assignment duration: - Memorial Day - Independence Day - Labor Day - Thanksgiving/Black Friday - Christmas Eve/Christmas Day - New Year's Eve/New Year's Day 25989575EXPPLAT Job Requirements Required for Onboarding ACLS - AHA BLS - AHA Core Competency PALS - AHA Pharmacology Skills Checklist Specialty Exam About Cynet Health Your travel nursing adventure begins here.
