belonging meets purpose. - - -Join our team of exceptional Advanced
Practice Providers (APP's) in the Cardiac Critical Care Unit at
Emory University Hospital. -The Cardiac Critical Care Unit (CCU) at
Emory provides the opportunity to work closely with a variety of
cardiac conditions including those with multi-system failure,
advanced heart failure, and heart transplantation. - -We provide
support to patients with severe states of shock including
mechanical ventilatory support as well as mechanical circulatory
support. - -Ideal candidate will have the following:
- Current ICU experience as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or
Physician Assistant. -
- Current experience with mechanical circulatory support and
invasive procedures.
- CVL and Arterial Line placement experience - -This is a
Nocturnist position and the schedule will be 3 shifts per week from
6:30 PM to 7:00 AM. -Our Physician Assistants and Nurse
Practitioners are an integral part of the Emory Healthcare

Care Unit at Emory University Hospital is seeking an experienced
Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for a
Nocturnist position. -Current ICU experience as an Acute Care Nurse
Practitioner or Physician Assistant is required for this position.
- -Nurse Practitioner candidates must be Acute Care certified (ACNP
or AGACNP). - - -
- Assists in the evaluation and treatment of patients.
- Documents the delivery of care in the individual's medical
records.
- Conducts patient interviews and documents patient histories,
psychosocial histories, health status and medical problems or
potential problems.
- Under the direction of a physician, performs physical
examinations and specialized diagnostic and/or therapeutic
procedures including cast application and removal, wound suturing
and dressing changes.
- Assists physician in diagnosing medical problems, developing
care plans, and prescribing treatment.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Completion of an accredited Acute Care Nurse Practitioner
program or Physician Assistant program.
- Currently licensed as an advanced practice nurse in the state
of Georgia by the Georgia Board of Nursing and certified as a Nurse
Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or
equivalent body, or Certified as a Physician's Assistant by the
National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants
(NCCPA).
- Licensed as appropriate in the state of Georgia.
- May require at least one year of direct experience in one or
more high acuity clinical specialties.
- Current BLS issued by the American Heart Association and
Healthcare Provider certifications required. ACLS may be required
